- Inspect the flue system and make sure it is securely attached to the furnace

- Check belts and pulleys
- Check drain lines and pans of standing water to prevent overflows
- Check wiring and electrical connections
- Check all moving parts such as bearing and motors
- Check thermostats and controls to ensure they are reading the right temperature
- Visually check accessible duct work to ensure there are no holes, tears, or kinks
- Check for Carbon Monoxide, and if there are Carbon Monoxide detectors in the home
- Check refrigerant pressures (heat pump)
- Inspect interior and exterior heat pump condense (heat pump)
- Check and clean flame sensor
- Inspect and test all valves in home to make sure they are operational and have no leaks
- Check and locate main water valve
- Check pressure to the home
- Check all drains for leaks

- Check washing machine hoses
- Check all supply lines
- Dry test all toilet and check for leaks, inspect components, and change flapper in up to 2 toilets if needed
- Flush 1 standard tank, or 1 tankless water heater; check age and condition of water heater
- Check garbage disposal for proper operation and check for leaks
- Standard aerator replacements
- Test the home’s water quality
- Grounding and wiring on accessible out-lets
- The condition of wires in the attic and/or crawl space
- The condition of the main service cable feeding the home from the utility company
- The condition of the main service panel, breakers and meter base
- That safety devices are in proper working order
- That dimmers, switches, and receptacles are in proper working order
Ensure that the water pressure in your residence is within the safe operational limit.
- Inspect all safety devices & valves.
- Inspect thermal expansion tank & set pressure.
- Inspect flue piping (on Natural Gas & Propane Fueled Water Heaters).
- Visual inspection of flame burner and related natural gas connections (on Natural Gas & Propane Fueled Water Heaters).
We will flush your water heater free of charge while completing the onsite inspection on the rest of the system.
- Inspect and test the main water shut-off valve to your residence to ensure its in working order for when an emergency occurs.
- Secondary Valves Inspection & Operation Check
- Inspect and test all secondary valves serving things such as Toilets, Lavatories and Sinks to ensure they are leak free and in working order.
Inspect all toilets, check for leaks & needed adjustments.
Inspect all exposed and/or accessible domestic water piping for leaks and/or other common issues.
Inspect all exposed and / or accessible sanitary waste & vent piping for leaks and / or other common issues (interior camera inspection not included).
Visually inspect all sewer pumps, re-circulation pumps, mixing valves, sump pumps and plumbing devices within the residence.
On homes with wells we will visually inspect any exposed and / or accessible well equipment for leaks and / or other common issues.
Inspect all fixtures and faucets for common issues.
Check all exterior and/or interior hose bibs as well as yard hydrants for drips, leaks and proper operation.
Check all exposed and / or accessible natural gas or propane piping for common issues and safety.
