Can you believe it’s already October? This year has been full of ups and downs, but we’re excited to finish it with a flourish!
Those of you who have been with us from the start know that Go Green is more than just another company providing HVAC and plumbing services in Greensboro, NC, and beyond. We like to think of ourselves as your friendly neighbor who’s always there for you in your time of need.
That being said, helping our community members is one of our company’s greatest accomplishments. Every month, we choose a local family in need and provide them with free HVAC and plumbing services and equipment — read about our Community Promise and nominate somebody you know right here. This month, we’re doing something extra!
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, Go Green will be donating 100 percent of dispatch fees accumulated during the month of October to the American Cancer Society.
The American Cancer Society has been a pioneer in cancer research and treatment. Their mission is to lead the fight against cancer, so that we may all live in a cancer-free world one day. To make this dream a reality, the American Cancer Society conducts life-saving research for new treatment options and works alongside lawmakers to create positive change. Most importantly, they aim to provide access to care for families and individuals who have been affected by this horrible disease but cannot afford treatment on their own. They also provide a wealth of resources to keep the public informed on any and all news related to cancer.
At Go Green, we believe that donating to the American Cancer Society is the best way we can help to make a positive difference for those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer or any other type of cancer. To make an even bigger impact, Go Green is interested in partnering with the American Cancer Society for a sponsorship. We also encourage our customers to donate to this amazing non-profit foundation whenever they get a chance.
We also love supporting small businesses looking to do their part in raising awareness and money for cancer research. To help save boobies, our Greensboro plumbers and HVAC technicians will be wearing Boo Bees by ShuBee®.
ShuBee® will be donating a percentage of their Boo Bees Shoe Cover sales to a deserving warrior and organization. We’re proud to be #CoveredForTheCause!
